Q: How do I get to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard?
A: Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard is located within the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam complex, two miles southeast of the Honolulu International Airport. You can take the H-1 freeway and signs are posted directing you to Pearl Harbor. Entrance to the station is strictly for service members and Department of Defense cardholders only.

Q: Is Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard open for public tours?
A: Unfortunately, no. Due to security restrictions, requests for tours by veterans associations, community groups, and others are considered strictly on a case-by-case basis. We highly recommend visits to the various outstanding museums and memorials in the Pearl Harbor area that are open to the public. For information on Shipyard-specific tours, call (808) 473-8000, ext. 1-2579.

Q: May I take photos and/or videos within the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard facility?
A: Due to security restrictions, photography and videography of the Shipyard is not permitted without proper security accreditation. Media representatives must contact the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Public Affairs Office (PAO) by phone at (808) 473-8000, ext. 2579. Other official visitors who require photography permits must contact Shipyard Security at 473-8000, ext. 3340.
